Our Story
Healing Exploitation from the Inside Out
For over 10 years, our founder has studied exploitation and served survivors through innovative programs both nationally and internationally. While working on humanitarian programs in Latin America and the USA, our founder had many poignant experiences while serving women who
many would call "prostitutes".

Demoralized by abuse and trauma, these womens' personal stories helped Drew realize that by providing healing focused services, he could access exploited people,
develop trust with them, and help them
engage in healing DURING their exploitation.

On a particular project in Latin America, he found this blue morpho butterfly, and was inspired by it as a symbol of transformation from captivity to freedom, peace, and healing. This butterfly sits in his office to this day and is the inspiration behind our branding.

Drew founded HealEx in 2021. Our flagship program is currently serving hundreds of exploited people in the United States. And our reach is growing by teaching others how to serve exploited people globally.
We believe healing trauma is the key to ending exploitation.
Our Mission
To bring freedom, peace, and healing to exploited people through
healing focused programs, collaboration, and telling the truth about human trafficking and exploitation.
Our Vision
To revolutionize access to healing for exploited people all over the world.
